1. Health communication and marketing strategies.

– TV program “Ponle Vida”. Original idea, advice, script writing and hosting of the weekly television program on health issues “Ponle Vida”, a series of 65, 27-minute episodes, produced by Infomed and the Educational Channel of Cuban Television. From 2003 – 2006.

– Collection of documentaries on Cuban health professionals: General idea and executive production of biographical documentaries on Cuban health and medical personalities, directed by Infomed with cooperation from UNDP. 2004 – 2008.

 – Collection of HIV – AIDS materials. Coordination of content and production of content on HIV-AIDS for the Virtual Health Library of Cuba, directed by Infomed with cooperation from PAHO and UNDP. 2005.

5. Editorial projects

– “Salud Vida” Magazine: General direction of the digital magazine “Salud Vida”, aimed at promoting health and preventing diseases in the Cuban population. First web 2.0 publication of the National Health System and the first aimed at the non-specialized public in Cuba, carried out by Infomed and Prosalud with support from PAHO. 2013 – 2016.

– “Destino Salud” Magazine: Original idea and editorial direction of the “Destino Salud” Magazine, aimed at the international commercial promotion of Cuban health services and medical tourism. 2019 – 2020.

– Book “Letra con Vida”. General coordination of the digital monographic publication of the “Letra con Vida” space, for reflection and dialogue on health culture and dissemination of health literature, carried out by the Dulce María Loynaz Cultural Center, of the Cuban Book Institute, from the Acuario publishing label. 2015.

6. Organization of events and conferences.

– Comsalud: Original idea and Vice Presidency of the 1st International Seminar on Communication in Health Sciences, COMSALUD, organized by Prosalud and PAHO, held in La Pradera, Cuba, 2017.

– Videosalud: Original idea and direction of the 1st International Audiovisual Exhibition in Health Sciences, Videosalud. Cuba. 2008.

– International Seminar on Medical and Wellness Tourism. Original idea and organization in the 1st International Seminar on Medical and Wellness Tourism in Cuba, held at the Pabexpo fairgrounds, Havana, 2022.

7. Organization of fairs and exhibitions.

– Coordination of exhibition projects of health tourism services in several editions of the International Health Fair for All, Havana International Fair, International Tourism Fair of Cuba and in international multisector fairs, tourism, medical tourism and wellness tourism in Spain (FITUR and Termatalia), Russia, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina, Panama, Bolivia, Germany, UAE and China.

– FitSaludCuba: Original idea and member of the organizing committee of the 1st International Fair of Medical and Wellness Tourism of Cuba and of the Cuban Health Tourism Award, held at Pabexpo, Havana, 2022.

8. Brand management and visual identity systems.

– Coordination of the implementation of the identity and brand management system of the magazine “Salud Vida”, the cultural project “Letra con Vida”, the television program “Ponle Vida”, the National Center for Health Promotion and Education of Cuba, “Prosalud”, the “Comsalud” event and the company CSMC, S. A.

9. Dissemination of science and health literature.

– “Videosalud” Contest: Original idea and coordination of the International Health Audiovisual Contest, organized by Infomed. 2005.

– “Letra con Vida”: Monthly space for expert panels, for reflection and dialogue on the culture of health and the dissemination of health literature, carried out by the Dulce María Loynaz Cultural Center, of the Cuban Book Institute. 2013 – 2017.

– Scientific health dissemination courses: Main professor of the National Course on Scientific Dissemination in Health promoted by the National School of Public Health for six editions and of the Diploma in Journalism Specialized in health developed by the “José Martí” International Institute of Journalism.

– Jury at Videomed: International Jury for two editions of the international medical audiovisual contest, Videomed, Badajoz – Spain.

– Jury of the National Prize for Technical Scientific Criticism of the Cuban Book Institute.

– Presentation of the book “Chronicle of a Bad Friend”, Cuban edition, by Dr. Tabaré Vázquez, oncologist and president of the Republic of Uruguay on two occasions, together with its author, at the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology of Havana.

10. Risk Communication Management.

– Development and implementation of risk communication strategies to confront Ebola, Zika and dengue epidemics in Cuba. 2014 – 2017.

– Mission of the PAHO representation in Cuba to the regional headquarters in Washington for the exchange and development of the bilateral cooperation agenda in health promotion, disease prevention and communication in support of the Universal Health strategy and the Sustainable Development Goals. 2016.

– Coordination of the UNICEF regional cooperation and research project for the Zika prevention strategy in pregnant women and women of childbearing age in Cuba. 2016.

– Participation in the PAHO regional Communication Strategy for access to the Human Papillomavirus vaccine. Regional workshop in Antigua, Guatemala. 2017.
