Salud Vida
Salud Vida was a digital magazine on health issues with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention, with high scientific rigor, aimed at the non-specialized public in Cuba.

Among its main topics are: Food and nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, environmental health, mental health, maternal and child health, health of the elderly, psychology, natural and traditional medicine, among others. It includes sections on health counseling with recognized Cuban experts, cooking recipes, calculators, and promotion of health books.
This publication evolved into a health communication project in convergent media, including the Cuban television program Ponle Vida, and is the inspiration for the current portal hazlavidasana.com, which I have had the honor of directing.

Salud Vida arose from the idea of my mother, Dr. Cristina Martínez, a health professional and enthusiast of disease prevention and health promotion, to whom I owe my beginnings in this field, under the impulse of the development of the Cuban Health Portal – Infomed and its leader Pedro Urra González, with the support of fellow journalists, designers and information managers from various Cuban media and the Faculty of Communication of the University of Havana, along with prestigious Cuban doctors and psychologists.
Salud Vida was the first health serial publication aimed at the general population of Cuba at the beginning of the 21st century and the first to use a web 2.0 platform and social networks such as Facebook and Twitter in the Cuban National Health System. As a publication it was the subject of several references in conferences and specialized publications.
